The warning comes after several cities, including New York, were put on high alert due to concerns over demonstrations related to the conflict. The alert also follows the killing of several Hamas commanders who led the group’s rampage on October 7 in airstrikes.
An ex-Hamas leader also called for Muslims worldwide to participate in a ‘Day of Jihad.’
The ongoing conflict has resulted in over 3,200 deaths on both sides, with 29 Americans among the deceased and another 15 currently unaccounted for. The death toll in Israel alone exceeded 1,000 as the country plans a significant retaliation against Gaza.
