It seems as though Democrats’ hypocrisy knows no bounds.
Don’t bite the hand which feeds you, right?
2020 presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren has landed in some hot water about her comments regarding the desire to dismantle Facebook. This is interesting, however, because Warren is relying upon Facebook to attract potential support and voters to her campaign, as noted by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
A Closer Look at Warren’s Remarks on Facebook
Earlier this year, Warren accused big tech companies of “hurting small businesses and stifling innovation.”
In her own words:
“Today’s big tech companies have too much power — too much power over our economy, our society, and our democracy. They’ve bulldozed competition, used our private information for profit, and tilted the playing field against everyone else [and] in the process, they have hurt small businesses and stifled innovation. That’s why my Administration will make big, structural changes to the tech sector to promote more competition—including breaking up Amazon, Facebook, and Google.”
Now those are some lofty declarations. However, if Warren truly has all these grievances with Facebook, surely she would be willing to stop using the platform for advertisement and voter outreach purposes, right?
Nope! Like many people in her party, Warren is a flaming hypocrite who says one thing and does something which is entirely different.
Bigger Fish to Fry than Facebook
Warren is one of nearly two dozen Democrats who hope to take on President Trump in the general election. In order to make this happen, however, Warren needs to win the nomination from the Democrat Party.
Thus far, she’s not even first or second place in the polls of Democrat voters. Given how Warren is struggling to gain ground, her time might be better spent focusing on her campaign…or at least, what’s left of it.
