Over the course of impeachment proceedings, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has made a series of untrue claims about President Trump.
With other Democrats backing her, Pelosi’s accusations against the president include assertions that he obstructed justice, abused power, and even engaged in bribery. However, while all of the aforementioned accusations are untrue, the impeachment articles against the president only include obstruction of justice and abuse of power, not bribery.
During a recent press conference, Pelosi was asked about why the impeachment articles against the president don’t state bribery. While the House Speaker stammered through her answer, the president later provided his take on the matter, as documented by Breitbart News.
A Closer Look at Pelosi’s Latest Press Conference
Impeachment continues to dominate and trend amongst the press. This week, House Democrats are set to gather for one more vote on impeachment articles; this vote will determine whether or not impeachment stops in the House or goes on to the Senate for a trial and subsequent acquittal of President Trump.
Towards the end of last week, certain Americans were interested in learning about Pelosi’s previous accusations of Trump committing bribery and why this wasn’t included in the impeachment articles. When asked, the House Speaker stated that she isn’t a lawyer and that the articles of impeachment came to be after Democrats worked with “committee chairs, attorneys, and the rest.”
Nevertheless, Trump had a different outlook. On late Sunday afternoon, the president took to Twitter, stating that Pelosi’s teeth were “falling out of her mouth,” thus blocking her from truly thinking.

More from Trump on Impeachment
Throughout this entire sham of an impeachment inquiry, the president has continued to maintain and stand by the facts. As confirmed by both Zelensky and the transcripts, Trump did not partake in a quid-pro-quo; the narrative which exists to the contrary is what Democrats are basing these entire impeachment proceedings upon.
Earlier this morning, President Trump reminded and urged Americans to read the transcripts so that they may discover the truth for themselves.
