In recent years, the mainstream media became infamous for “fake news” due to the coverage of then-candidate-turned President Trump. When Trump first ran for office in the 2016 presidential race, the media intentionally gave him bad press while buttering up Hillary Clinton. In spite of this, Trump defeated Clinton and went on to become the 45th president.
During Trump’s presidency and throughout the 2020 presidential race, the mainstream media continued its bad coverage of Trump. To this day, there are many Americans who have their doubts as to whether or not Biden legitimately beat Trump last year.
Yesterday, though, the 45th president released a scathing statement about the “crooked” polls that played a role in the 2020 presidential race, per Newsmax.
Trump on the Polling of the 2020 Presidential Election
On Saturday, Trump put out a statement via his Save America PAC. In the remarks, the former president slammed the “crooked” and “dishonest” media outlets for purposefully misrepresenting him in the race against Biden.
Despite what the left might want Americans to think, Trump’s statement is far from unfounded or out of the blue. 48 hours before the former president’s remarks, political science professor Joshua Clinton confirmed in a Wall Street Journal article the bias that plagued the 2020 presidential election.
I know a lot of people who voted for Trump. I’ve never met one who has changed their mind. I’m not sure how Biden gets to 63% approval given how divided politics remain.

Clinton’s findings determined that 2020 polls overinflated support for Democrat candidates in each reviewed contest. Clinton additionally confirmed that the errors and bias maintained in spite of who was polled or how polls were conducted.
Trump described this as “SUPPRESSION POLLING” and stated that such suppression ought to be illegal.
The Most Secure Election?
Since Biden took over, Democrats have asserted that the 2020 presidential election was the “most secure” in the history of America.
The latest news about 2020 polls in the Wall Street Journal sheds questions on this claim; so do the multiple reports of ballot dumping, machine manipulation, etc., that arose during last year’s presidential race.
Donald J. Trump : https://t.co/MvIsBEbl6h Wall Street Journal has reported (they finally got something right), that 2020 was the “Worst Presidential Poll Miss in 40 Years.” The public opinion surveys ahead of the 2020 Presidential Election were the most inaccurate ever, accordi…

Democrats can bury their head in the sand; however, this won’t stop questions and conversations from occurring regarding last year’s presidential election. Many people lost confidence in the integrity of political races in 2020; this is why Republican states this year are implementing election security laws to prevent even the possibility of cheating or fraud in future races.
If you're fully vaccinated, you can now go mask-less in most settings.
But remember: it’s going to take time for everyone who wants to get vaccinated to get their shots, and some vaccinated people prefer masks. So please, if you see someone with a mask, treat them with kindness. pic.twitter.com/IRcYe2El4e

The media bears some responsibility for the concerns Americans have about fake news. Already, the latest news from the Wall Street Journal shows that polls were intentionally tipped in the favor of Democrats and against Republicans. This is not in keeping with democracy or fair elections.
