Trump Puts Google on Notice Following 2020 Rumors

Google has found themselves back at the forefront of controversy. This controversy comes amidst reports of the mega company bullying and eventually firing one of their engineers for his conservative political views. Rumors that Google has plans in the works to actively stop President Trump from winning a second term in office also doesn’t help the company’s image either. In light of these factors, the president openly announced that he’s keeping a close watch on Google, as documented by Breitbart News.

Google controversies come as conservatives continue to report experiences of censorship on various social media platforms. Common examples of censorship include video demonetizations, algorithm manipulations, shadow bans, account deactivations, and much more. Of course, Google and other big tech platforms maintain that they’re not actively working to censor conservatives on the internet, but the facts more than prove otherwise.

A Closer Look at the Warning to Google

The story of Kevin Cernekee, an engineer who previously worked for Google, has caught the attention of President Trump. According to Cernekee, his employment with Google was comprised of animosity from other staffers due to his political views. Not only was Cernekee singled out after his former colleagues learned of his conservatism, but higher-ups within the company urged Cernekee not to perpetuate disobedience or insubordination. Finally, Google fired him.

Cernekee has since come out and stated that Google has a well-established culture of bullying individuals who do not subscribe to liberal dogma. These revelations prompted the president to take another look at Google, especially in light of rumors of the company’s alleged plans to run interference in the 2020 presidential election.

Trump expressed this much in a series of tweets earlier today:

During a recent sit down with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, Cernekee provided additional information regarding Google’s stances on the 2016 election and upcoming 2020 election:

“They have openly stated that they think 2016 was a mistake. They thought Trump should have lost in 2016. They really want Trump to lose in 2020. That’s their agenda.”

Big Tech’s War on Trump and Conservatives

Google and other similar platforms share very extensive ties to liberal Silicon Valley. It’s not conducive to pretend as though Silicon Valley has any warm feelings towards conservatives.

Since President Trump’s time in office, conservatives at all levels continue to maintain that they’re facing online censorship. The mainstream media persists in reporting on certain stories which promote their agenda. At this point in 2019, everything is very politicized and divided. Big tech companies have a lot of power and there are many powerful people who do not want to see President Trump win a second term in office.
