Trump Frees Up $8 Billion To Build The Wall

President Trump has managed to put together $8 billion dollars in order to build his promised border wall, according to The Daily Caller News Foundation.

The Plan for the Border Wall

Yesterday, Americans learned that the president will sign the bipartisan legislation which Congress has put forth to keep government open after today. However, Trump will also declare a national emergency at the Southern border of the United States. The president has also managed to put together funds from various government sectors in order to ensure that the physical barrier is successfully built.
Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade provided additional details on this matter on Thursday:

“It’s going to be about $8 billion. He had the $1.3 [billion], then $600 million will come from the Treasury, the Treasury forfeiture front. $2.5 billion out of [Department of Defense]. They consulted with Mick Mulvaney and the White House over the last few months on what they could actually do and they are going to use some money they feel they can spare on the drug interdiction account.”

Kilmeade also provided some remarks on the minimal $1.375 billion dollars which Congress is providing in their legislation to continue government funding:

“The $1.375 [billion] [is] not enough for the president. He wanted $5.7 [billion]. He walks away at the end of the day with $8 billion and, of course, the Democrats and some Republicans are upset about that.”

The declaration of a national emergency is bound to upset Democrats who are hell-bent on opposing border security and enabling illegal immigration.
