There’s no secret that Democrats don’t mind employing the government to do their dirty work. Sometimes, that dirty work involves ramming terrible policies down the throats of the American people; other times, it entails calling to arrest individuals who think differently from you.
House Democrat Rashida Tlaib has recently come out, yet again, in support of arresting and jailing Trump administration officials who are not supportive of impeachment, per reports from The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Democrats have been floundering in the wind for quite some time and their attempts to impeach this president only get more desperate and absurd as time goes on. Tlaib, furthermore, maintains that House Democrats have put significant thought into the process of detaining and “holding” various Trump administration officials.

On Sunday, Tlaib sat down with Deadline Detroit for an interview. Throughout this interview, the congresswoman talked about “the logistics” of detaining members of the Trump administration and acknowledged that such moves veer into “uncharted territory.”
Interestingly enough, Tlaib declined to point out that arresting people for not being supportive of what a specific group deems as appropriate is peak fascism. See, left-wingers love to claim that they’re “anti-fascist,” but they have no qualms about employing fascist techniques against those who fail to fall in line.
Tlaib’s statements regarding the House Democrats’ interest in jailing Trump aides read as follows:
“If they were to detain someone, where would they go and have them detained so that they can comply with the subpoenas? There have been actual serious conversations about what the logistics would look like … if we did have to force someone through a court order to come before the Congressional committee. This is pretty uncharted territory for many of us and even for Congress.”
A Last Resort
What Tlaib is talking about is not only illegal, but it’s also inherently anti-American. If House Democrats had true and sincere justifications in impeaching President Trump, they wouldn’t have to proposal jailing his aides in order to get what they want. Moreover, if impeachment were justifiable, Democrats would have the necessary votes, but they don’t have the votes in either the House or the Senate; that, alone, speaks volumes.

It’s unfortunate that Democrats are more invested in impeaching the president than fulfilling their duties as members of Congress. This impeachment coup has gotten to be tiresome and quite frankly, it borders, if not crosses, the line of treason.
House Democrats who are talking about jailing Trump aides seek to undo the 2016 presidential election; this alone ought to be enough for them to be swiftly thrown out of Congress.
