Many Americans across the country are struggling with bare necessities to support themselves and their families. This is a consequence of shutdowns that have remained unceasing for months on end, ongoing capacity limitations imposed upon businesses by the government, etc.
At a time like this, Americans need to return to work and minimize their expenses. The last thing that anyone should be saddled with is higher taxes; however, this is the direction that the Biden administration is leading the nation in.
New updates from Washington Examiner confirm that U.S. taxpayers will now shoulder the burden of funding gender reassignment surgeries for members of the military.
A Higher Tax Bill for the American People
On January 25, 2021, President Biden signed the Enabling All Qualified Americans to Serve Their Country in Uniform order.
In this order, gender reassignment surgery is categorized as a benefit of serving in the U.S. military. In layman’s terms, this means that servicemembers seeking gender reassignment surgery will be covered by the “medical benefits package,” hence, they won’t have to pay for this procedure out of their own pockets.

Instead, American taxpayers will be the ones responsible for footing the bill. Americans should also know that gender reassignment surgery is no cheap operation. In fact, certain procedures of this nature can surpass the tune of $200,000.
Within Biden’s Enabling All Qualified Americans to Serve Their Country in Uniform order, he alleges that treatment for transgender military members will not cost much; however, handing taxpayers the bill for gender reassignment surgeries suggests otherwise.
Indiana GOP Rep. Jim Banks is a veteran himself and maintains support for transgender people serving in the military; however, Rep. Banks does not believe that taxpayers should be responsible for funding gender reassignment surgeries.
Another Economic Loss
Between revoking Keystone Pipeline, giving corporate and big businesses the green light to hire foreign workers, and now increasing the tax bill for millions of Americans, Biden isn’t doing the U.S. economy any favors.

Another economic loss is the last thing this president should be focused on right now. Instead, the American public needs lower taxes and more jobs, not higher taxes and fewer jobs. Unfortunately, though, Biden speaks as if he is a moderate, yet governs like a radical, extremist Democrat.
