In a not-so-shocking turn of events, Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff and his political allies have elected to begin yet another investigation into President Trump. The new investigation comes after the president criticized the baseless, ongoing Russia probe during his State of the Union address on Tuesday night, reports Townhall.
Reviewing the New Trump Investigation
Since the Russia investigation has proved to be fruitless, Democrats are now looking to pursue a new angle. This new angle involves looking into whether or not the president, his family, and his associates committed any financial crimes, such as money laundering. Investigations into whether or not Russia has any leverage over Trump in relation to his business dealings is another angle which Schiff and his cronies are pushing for.
The second probe into President Trump is taking place because the previous body of Congress supposedly failed to reach the conclusive answers to their existing “inquiries.”
What the New Trump Investigation is Really About
At the end of the day, the repeated and ongoing investigations into President Trump exist for one reason: to take him down. Since the inception of Trump’s presidency, Democrats have openly declared their determination to resist and impeach him. They are not interested in coming to the table as adults and working with this president.
Instead, Democrats would rather squander taxpayer dollars on baseless, politically-motivated probes. It’s unfortunate, but the Democrats are truly showing the American people who they are and what they stand for. The left cares more about sticking it to Trump than they care about improving the quality of life for the people of this nation.
