Despite the 2024 presidential election being years away, there is still a lot of speculation about potential candidates.
One of the most obvious possibilities is former President Trump. The 45th president has hinted on multiple occasions that he may make another bid for the White House once the next election rolls around.
Another strong possibility is Ron DeSantis, the GOP governor of Florida. DeSantis’ profile and popularity with conservatives has surged in recent months due to his stance against intrusive government mandates. DeSantis is also a possible vice presidential candidate should Trump run for office in 2024.
In fresh coverage from Fox News, talk has come up about South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, a Republican, running for president in 2024.
Rumors About a Noem 2024 Candidacy
To be clear, the South Dakota governor herself has declared on more than one occasion that she has no plans to seek the U.S. presidency in 2024. However, many political pundits believe that Governor Noem would have a very strong shot at becoming the Republican Party’s nominee.
On July 19, Noem is scheduled to speak at the FAMiLY Leader’s 10th annual summit. This event will also take place in Des Moines, Iowa, a state that is widely known for its caucuses starting off the nominating calendar for presidential races.

Earlier this month, the South Dakota governor also participated virtually in a New Hampshire-based Right of Center meeting.
Noem’s participation came alongside other prominent Republicans; moreover, it just so happens that New Hampshire is a state with a historic record of holding the initial primary in White House races.
A Republican Challenger Against President Biden
The GOP is very eager to ensure that Biden’s term as president comes to a swift end in January 2025.
Right now, there is no shortage of Republicans who are slamming the ineffective and misguided policies coming from this administration; however, an ultimate Republican challenger against a second term of President Biden remains to be seen.
Gas prices are skyrocketing. Gas shortages are hitting parts of America.
We knew this would happen when President Biden cancelled the Keystone XL Pipeline and reversed our America-first energy policies.

Like many other Republicans, Governor Noem has consistently held Biden to task. Days ago, the South Dakota GOP governor slammed the president’s choice to pull back on Keystone pipeline back in January. Noem, like other conservatives, recognizes that this decision led to current gas shortages and massive surges in prices for gas.
Last week I had the chance to meet with Dreamers in the Oval Office. These young people are part of the fabric of our nation and vital to our future.

While there is not yet a confirmed GOP challenger to take the fight to Biden in 2024, the president is creating plenty of ammuntion against him. Days ago, it came out that Biden has taken money from America’s healthcare programs to give handouts to illegal immigrants.
