Republicans on Track to Winning 2022 Midterm Elections

It’s not looking good for the Democrat Party right now. They have a president who is increasingly unpopular with the nation. On top of that, Democrats lost control of Virginia just earlier this month.

All of this serves as foreshadowing for the 2022 midterms. However, Democrats in the House remain especially at risk, amid re-districting and members choosing to retire. Word is that even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may be considering retirement.

On top of all this, Breitbart News is now drawing attention to a series of polls and other factors showing the Republican Party is well on track to winning the 2022 congressional midterms.

Making Congress Red Again

Polling data from ABC News/Washington Post shows Democrats are in bad shape as the midterm elections are one year away. Some of the biggest challenges facing leftist candidates right now are disapproval from voters and Biden’s increasingly terrible poll ratings.

At this time, only 35% of Americans are of the belief the president has real accomplishments under his belt. At the same time, 59% of Americans are concerned about Biden taking measures that will overinflate the role of government in people’s lives.

Another bad break for Democrats arrives with the revelation that if the midterms were being conducted today, more than five in ten Americans would back the GOP candidate. Just 41% would cast their ballot for a Democrat candidate.

Previous polls have indicated many Americans are unsure of how Biden’s bills will impact them. Others believe the president’s agenda will adversely impact their lives and their finances.

Paving the Way to 2024

Just as the Virginia gubernatorial election turned out as a bellwether for the 2022 midterms, the upcoming congressional races will likely be a bellwether for the 2024 presidential election.

Over this weekend alone, rumors have surfaced that Biden may not even be running for a second term during the 2024 presidential election. If this turns out to be the case, then whoever is the Republican nominee will likely face Kamala Harris.

Harris is in a similar boat as Biden; only, her ratings of approval are actually lower than the president’s. The vice president campaigned mightily for Terry McAuliffe in Virginia; yet, it still did not stop Glenn Youngkin from handily defeating McAuliffe and ascending to become Virginia’s governor-elect.

Here’s the reality: Americans are tired of inflation, paying higher prices, having medical mandates forced upon them, etc. Democrats and members of the Biden administration aren’t doing themselves any favors as they downplay the severity of the problems this nation faces.

This is all the more reason to elect Republican lawmakers in the 2022 midterms and to elect a Republican president during the 2024 election.
