Rep. Rashida Tlaib is unfortunately back in the news; she recently appeared on Meet The Press in order to talk about the Democrats’ latest efforts to impeach the president of the United States, as noted by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
It’s important to point out that Democrats renewed their calls for President Trump’s impeachment after their beloved Russia probe did not yield the results which they were expecting.
The Demands for Impeachment
The congresswoman provided some very interesting remarks on the reasons which Democrats will present as they “demand” for the impeachment of President Trump. Tlaib is moreover quoted as stating that impeachment is not about the upcoming 2020 presidential election. Instead, she maintains that the Trump administration has “violated the United States Constitution.”
You truly cannot make this stuff up. Hear Tlaib’s own words:
For the sake of full transparency, it’s necessary to provide some context into the ceaseless calls for impeachment. First, Democrats alleged that Trump colluded with the Russian government to win the 2016 election.
When that narrative was disproven after two years of an official investigation (and millions of wasted taxpayer dollars), then Democrats moved the pin and claimed that the president obstructed justice during Mueller’s probe. Now, Tlaib is openly stating that the manner in which Trump has managed his businesses is grounds for impeachment.
It gets even more inane when you view the impeachment posts which Tlaib has published on her Twitter account:
Meanwhile, if you listen to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the president is the one “goading” Democrats to impeach him.
Funny how that works.
The Democrats of present-day have absolutely and utterly lost their minds.
