Poll Spin: The 'Green New Deal' is Super Popular* Even Among Republicans**!

One guarantee about American politics is that something new and interesting will always present itself, usually sooner rather than later.
As of late, the new and interesting occurrence is the assertion that the socialist Green New Deal is somehow garnering support within the Republican Party, according to Townhall.

Do Republicans Truly Favor the Green New Deal?

As the atrocious Green New Deal continues to implode, Democrats are looking at any means of passing the buck in order to avoid well-deserved blame. This was evidenced by Democrat Sen. Ed Markey who attacked Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for allowing Congressional votes on the Green New Deal to take place:

So by Markey’s logic, McConnell is the enemy for allowing votes to take place on the legislation which Democrats initiated. That definitely makes a lot of sense.
At the end of the day, the truth of the matter is this: the Green New Deal is so radical and so far left that even some Democrats have come out against it. Republicans are not in favor of the legislation simply because they are allowing Congress to vote on it. The real reason why Democrats are scared of Congress voting on the Green New Deal is that the legislation will inevitably fail.
If Democrats were truly confident about the Green New Deal as they claim to be, they would be more than happy for Mitch McConnell to bring it to the floor. The fact that they’re complaining about it should tell the American people everything they need to know.
