The fight against coronavirus continues to reveal quite a bit to the people of this country.
Americans are getting to see which politicians are serious about getting things done, as opposed to just talking. Anyone can stand on a podium or repeat rehearsed talking points, but the real work often happens behind the scenes. Unlike so many of the Democrats, President Trump and his administration are conferring with health officials and taking necessary steps to conserve our nation in the wake of COVID-19.
While the Trump administration works on behalf of the American people, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continues playing petty politics and lobbing cheap attacks. Just yesterday, the Speaker sat down for an interview with MSNBC and made a host of new, inaccurate accusations against President Trump, as reported by Breitbart News.
What to Know About Pelosi’s Latest Attacks
The House Speaker’s inaccurate assertions about President Trump deal with his management of the coronavirus. When asked about the president’s plan to soon allow Americans to go back to work while still fighting COVID-19 via appropriate measures, Pelosi didn’t miss a beat.
She immediately went into attack mode, branding Trump as guilty of “notion mongering.” Then, after insinuating that the president doesn’t understand or care about science, Pelosi took things even further. According to the House Speaker, Trump’s interest in keeping the economy afloat while fighting coronavirus is akin to “a formula for more uncertainty” along with “infections” and “harm” to our nation’s economy.
Remembering the Economic Factor
One of the most unfortunate ways that Democrats have reacted to coronavirus is by completely ignoring the economy. As President Trump has stated multiple times, the cure cannot be worse than the problem.
Contrary to what the left would have Americans believe, there is a way to preserve public health and take on COVID-19 without tanking our nation’s economy in the process. As long as Democrats prioritize petty politics over American lives and wellbeing, the left will continue to make a mockery of themselves.
