Over the course of impeachment proceedings, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has attempted to spread a false narrative to the American people.
According to the Speaker, she believes impeachment of a president is “somber” and “solemn,” not something to be lauded or celebrated. In actuality, this statement might hold slightly more water if Democrats were not on record calling for impeachment back in 2017 and otherwise expressing an interest in removing the president from office — this occurred long before any phone call Trump had with the leader of Ukraine.

Pelosi claims that she prays for the president and his family; she also stated that no member of Congress arrives for the purpose of impeaching a president. While no American can know who the Speaker prays for, the notion of no one coming to Congress to impeach Trump is a lie. House Rep. Rashida Tlaib infamously declared that she and her cohorts in the House would “impeach the motherf*cker.”
Now, Speaker Pelosi is facing new backlash for her actions while signing the impeachment resolution earlier this week, according to Washington Examiner. Despite telling Americans how sadly and solemnly she views impeachment, Pelosi is on video laughing, grinning, and handing out commemorative pens to sign the resolution.
Reviewing the Latest Censure Against Pelosi
On Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called out Pelosi for the conflict between her words and actions.
McConnell noted that “handing out souvenirs” doesn’t really coincide with the narrative of Democrats believing that impeachment of a president is unfortunate. The Senate Majority Leader rightly noted that Pelosi and other congressional Democrats behaved as if the resolution was a “happy bill signing” rather than the “gravest process in our Constitution.”
During further remarks on the Senate floor, McConnell branded the Democrats’ sham impeachment as “a partisan performance from beginning to end.” While signing the resolution, Pelosi chose to display emblazoned, branded pens on a silver platter, next to articles of impeachment. Following the signature of the resolution, the House Speaker then handed out the pens to other House Democrats who despise the president as much as she does.
The Fall of Trump-Hating House Democrats
Throughout history, various corrupt figures have brought about their demise via their own foolish actions; the same story applies to House Democrats.
The stunt which Pelosi pulled during the impeachment resolution signing only shows that she never viewed the Trump impeachment sham as “somber” or “solemn.” Once again, the left has proven themselves to be liars and desperate enough to do anything they believe will hurt the president.

While Speaker Pelosi gleefully signed the impeachment resolution with fancy pens, President Trump signed the phase one agreement for a trade deal between the United States and China. As the Democrats actively work to overthrow a lawful, innocent president, Trump acts to preserve the interests of both America and the American people.
