Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is expected to indict and arrest former President Trump, according to a statement the former president made on his new social media platform, Truth Social.
The allegations concern payments made to Stormy Daniels during Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign for president. Federal prosecutors declined to pursue these charges and the Manhattan district attorney’s office previously chose not to do so.
Controversy Surrounding Charges Against Trump
The question remains as to why this case is being pursued at this time.
Is it due to the absence of other charges against Trump or his potential re-election in 2024? Is it due to his pledges to take action against China for COVID-19, secure the southern border, and regulate social media companies that censor conservative viewpoints?
The reasons for Trump’s impending indictment are, however, much more sinister.
The left has been manipulating and gaslighting Christians while imposing their distorted views on society. They normalize the sexualization of children, demolish womanhood, and prioritize principles of equity over personal responsibility and common sense.
The left believes something will become normal if it becomes widespread. Christians cannot turn a blind eye to these alterations and allow gaslighting to alter their perception of what is typical.
The indictment of Donald Trump is a strategic move by godless liberal prosecutors who seek to imprison the 45th president and eliminate God from society.
Christian Evangelical Support for Trump
Trump has previously been attacked, but as the 2024 elections approach, these attacks intensified.
For instance, former Vice President Mike Pence leveled outrageous accusations against Trump at the annual Gridiron Dinner in Washington, DC, claiming Trump only believed in his favorite passages of the Bible and joking he hid classified documents in his Bible.

Because Trump poses a threat to their control over the Christian faithful, Christian evangelical gatekeepers like Pence continue to demean and denigrate Trump. Likewise, GOP power brokers are afraid of Trump’s direct connection to the American people.
During his first term, Trump granted Christians unprecedented access to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, relocated the embassy to Jerusalem, and appointed sufficient Supreme Court Justices to overturn Roe v. Wade.
