O'Rourke Admits He Wants Open Borders

Whenever the Democrat Party discusses immigration, they make comments which all but confirm their support for open borders. Similarly to the claims that progressives don’t want to take your guns, the left also claims that they’re not for open borders. This, like their statements about not moving to confiscate your guns, is an outright lie.

If the Democrat Party weren’t in favor of open borders, they wouldn’t be fighting so hard against President Trump’s border wall; their 2020 presidential candidates also wouldn’t be calling for the decriminalization of unlawful border crossings. At this point, anyone who is honest with themselves knows that progressives favor open borders where anyone can pour in at will.

On Friday, 2020 Democrat Beto O’Rourke confirmed his support for open borders, as documented by Breitbart News.

A Closer Look at O’Rourke’s Interest in Open Borders

During a recent interview, O’Rourke stated that he wants to remove portions of the wall at the Southern border. He made very clear that if he is elected as president, that’s something he’ll do. When interviewer Maria Hinojosa asked O’Rourke about previous remarks in which he vowed to “tear down that wall,” the 2020 Democrat confirmed that this is still his plan as far as immigration goes.

In O’Rourke’s own words:

“Right. So the short answer is yes. I would include all local stakeholders. There are more than 600 miles of wall and physical barriers now along that 2,000-mile border. […] In El Paso, we saw crime actually go up after the wall was constructed instead of coming down. It made us less – not more – safe. As an El Pasoan, I, for one, would want to take much of that wall down.”

Unmasking the Democrat Party

We’re reaching a point in politics where Democrats are gradually dropping the act of civility and letting Americans know what they’re truly all about. There’s no more pretending. The left went from “we don’t want to take your guns,” to “hell yes, we’re gonna take your AR-15!” Democrats went from saying that a wall isn’t the right immigration reform to calling for the decriminalization of unlawful border crossings.

So when conservatives and others refer to progressives and Democrats as radical, this is why. Never again should the left-wing question why they’re viewed as extremists or why they continue to lose presidential elections.
