As Joe Biden continues to lead his in-party opponents in the 2020 presidential election, he is gaining a fair amount of attention. Thus far, the former vice president is largely regarded as a more moderate, centrist candidate. This particular stance is furthermore a contributing factor to his lead in amongst Democrats, despite the more radical progressives who aren’t happy to see his momentum in the polls.
However, there is talk about whether or not Biden will truly remain as a moderate, centrist-like candidate, especially in light of the heat which he’s facing from progressives within his party. Newt Gingrich, a former House Speaker doesn’t seem to think so.
As a matter of fact, Gingrich predicted that Biden will eventually become as radical as his competition, documents Fox News.
Reviewing Gingrich’s Predictions on Biden
To say that Gingrich is not impressed with Biden would serve as a major understatement. Earlier today, Gingrich appeared on Fox & Friends to share his thoughts:
“Joe Biden will be a very radical Democrat by the time he gets there. Of course he is a doofus. This is a guy who had to drop out of his first presidential campaign because he adopted the entire speech from Neil Kinnock about growing up in Wales.”

At this time, the former Vice President continues to face intense heat from both Republicans and Democrats. Republicans don’t like Biden period and Democrats don’t think he’s far left enough to represent their party values and take on President Trump in 2020. This is in spite of Biden’s current lead in the polls.
If the former Vice President truly wishes to gain the support and nomination of his party, then Americans may witness the emergence of a more radical Joe Biden in the weeks to come.
