Anti-police Democrats are emboldened by both the leftist congressional majorities and the reality that President Biden is in the White House.
Therefore, individuals like Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib have no issues with calling for the altogether dismantling of law enforcement, prisons, etc. Tlaib has since faced a mountain of backlash for these calls.
Biden has steered clear of a strong rebuke against this rhetoric; however, the White House certain did its part to distance Biden from calls to completely abolish law enforcement. However, when Biden went to Georgia yesterday, protesters urged him to eliminate Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Rather than push back on this, Biden’s response to the rhetoric was to plead with these protesters to grant him five more days. Now, Fox News reports that a new poll shows law enforcement to be more popular in America than Biden.
Public Views on Law Enforcement, Biden, and More in America
According to a new NBC News poll that came out yesterday, law enforcement groups have a popularity rate of 58% in America; this comes ahead of Biden’s popularity rating of just 50%.
The findings from this poll show that the “defund the police” crowd is not winning in the court of public opinion after all; this comes despite the noise from anti-police folks. As a matter of fact, a survey earlier this month showed that most Americans are concerned about anti-police sentiment driving officers away from the force and therefore endangering public safety.

Beneath the law enforcement agencies and Biden, in terms of popularity, are the Republican Party and the Democrat Party.
Unpopular Policies in Biden’s America
Biden has chosen to use the office of the presidency to push for policies that are not widely supported.
For starters, polling has shown that more Americans than not support the Senate filibuster being used to block changes to the current tax code. Furthermore, Biden’s management of the Southern border is an issue that many people throughout the nation view as problematic.
In his first address to a joint session of Congress, President Biden completely ignored the border crisis — which is exactly why we still have a border crisis. There’s seemingly no plan or desire to fix it.

Even Democrats in border states have begun to call out Biden. Just earlier this week, Democrat senators from Arizona expressed an interest in seeing more action from the Biden administration to get the border crisis dealt with once and for all.
