In 2021, the Democrat Party has launched a full attack against photo ID requirements for voters.
The H.R.1, For the People Act that Democrats are attempting to pass through Congress would essentially prohibit states from requiring voters to present photo ID. Moreover, when Georgia passed legislation earlier this month requiring absentee ballot voters to present photo ID, Democrats lost it.
The left immediately branded Georgia’s S.B. 202 as a racist, Jim Crow, voter suppression bill. If Democrats had their say-so, any requirements for photo ID to vote would vanish.
However, it turns out that the push to outlaw voter ID requirements is not popular. According to Breitbart News, almost eight in 10 Americans are supportive of requirements for voters to present photo ID.
Where Americans Stand on Photo ID Requirements to Vote
Earlier this month, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) held a poll about election integrity in the United States. The findings from this poll are very telling and they do not align with the narratives Democrats have been sharing with the country.
"Should voters be required to show photo identification such as a driver’s license before being allowed to vote?"
1000 National Likely Voters – Yes
White – 74%
Black – 69%
Oth Non-White – 82%
All Voters – 75%75% Support Voter ID Laws https://t.co/NnqM90fgGi

77% of polled individuals confirmed that they favor the requirement to show a picture ID that is valid in order to vote. Only 17% of individuals polled categorized themselves as opposed to photo ID requirements.
Additional findings from the NRSC poll show that the majority of Americans are concerned about H.R. 1 scrapping requirements for voters to present photo ID.
72% of polled Americans described themselves as being “somewhat” or “very” concerned; meanwhile, just 25% stated that they had little to no concerns about the For the People Act outlawing photo ID requirements.
Fair Elections and Voting Rights
The Democrat Party continues to put out this false narrative that fair elections and voting rights are mutually exclusive.
The reality is that ensuring that elections are clean and fair in America does not suppress or block any American citizen’s right to vote. Democrats, on the other hand, are using legislation like H.R. 1 to open the door to fraud, double-voting, and other irregularities that significantly hurt election integrity.
H.R.1 is not “for the people” it is “for the politicians.”
It would legalize ballot trafficking, send taxpayer dollars to politicians’ campaign accounts, and create a partisan FEC.

Republicans across the nation, on the other hand, are working to ensure that every legal vote is counted.
