Nancy Pelosi Unloads on Reporter for Asking if She "Hates" Trump

The American people have tired of seeing the Democrat Party consistently go after President Trump without any cause or evidence. Now, Democrats will claim that they’re simply trying to uphold the Constitution, but this simply isn’t accurate. Were the left as committed to the Constitution as they claim, they wouldn’t be engaging in a coordinated coup to undo the results of the 2016 presidential election.

At the end of the day, the impeachment inquiry boils down to hatred for President Trump and smart Americans know this. Yesterday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was confronted during her press conference where she announced the Democrats’ move forward with articles of impeachment against Trump.

As the Speaker left the podium, a reporter asked Pelosi if she “hates” the president. This immediately prompted the House Speaker to stop in her tracks and slam the reporter’s question. Breitbart News documented Pelosi’s claim that, as a Catholic, she doesn’t hate anyone at all.

Reviewing Pelosi’s Response to the Reporter

Following the question about whether or not she “hates” President Trump, Speaker Pelosi firmly denied it. Moreover, she ordered the reporter not to accuse her of that, prompting the reporter to explain that he didn’t accuse her, but merely asked a question. However, Pelosi shook her head and claimed that the reporter indirectly accused her.

She then went back to the podium and stated her belief that President Trump is a “coward” when it comes to gun control and “cruel” not to provide aid to “Dreamers.” However, Pelosi claimed that these matters are about “the election.” Shortly thereafter, the House Speaker alleged that Democrats’ impeachment crusade is about the president supposedly violating his oath of office.

Finally, Pelosi wrapped things up by stating that she regularly “prays for the president” and ordered the reporter not to “mess with” her when it comes to hating someone.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

The House Speaker would do well to ask herself why her actions and this inquiry are being interpreted as hatred for President Trump. Earlier this year, Pelosi warned about the perils of impeachment, citing it as incredibly divisive to the nation and something which should only take place with bipartisan support. Yet, this ongoing inquiry couldn’t be more partisan.

Now, some Americans have stated that Pelosi’s shift on impeachment came as a result of her need to cater to radical progressives within her party. Others claimed that the House Speaker is now backing impeachment because none of the 2020 Democrats stand a chance of beating Trump at the ballot box.

Nevertheless, actions speak louder than words and this partisan-driven, baseless quest to impeach is not indicative of someone who truly values the American people or free and fair elections.
