As the nation’s war against coronavirus continues, the Trump administration, along with health officials, is at the frontline. As states across the nation take precautions to halt the spread of COVID-19, the president is also making moves as well. In addition to sharing health recommendations from the CDC, Trump is also seeking to find a remedy to coronavirus.

According to a new Harris poll, 56% of Americans presently support the manner in which President Trump is dealing with coronavirus. Data from this poll makes sense; both Republican and Democrat leaders alike have given accolades to the manner in which the president’s administration has addressed this outbreak. Congratulators even include the likes of California Governor Gavin Newsom and socialist congresswoman Ilhan Omar.

What to Know About Trump’s Rising Approval

The Trump administration remains on top of the coronavirus pandemic like green on grass. Each day, the White House provides the nation with updates from the COVID-19 task force. Moreover, part of a Trump-era stimulus plan involves sending checks to Americans who have been financially hit by coronavirus.

In addition to the aforementioned measures comes a potential new treatment for the virus; just yesterday, the president announced chloroquine, a drug designed to treat malaria, can resist coronavirus and will soon be made available to Americans. Both the White House and President Trump are also largely viewed as credible sources for information pertaining to coronavirus.

What Happens Now?

News about chloroquine’s impact on coronavirus has provided hope to many Americans. When this drug is made available to more people, it should significantly cut back on cases of coronavirus. With the reduced spread of the virus and treatment made available to unwell individuals, Americans, along with the economy, should begin to experience an upward turn.
