The race card is endlessly and unnecessarily used by the Democrat Party. Whenever the left is struggling to defend their policies or having a hard time winning against opponents, they scream racism and it’s beyond ridiculous.
This strategy also materializes from the Democrats’ handbook when they need to put out a certain narrative and paint themselves as victims. Using race as an excuse is not only tiresome but it speaks volumes about how much Democrats have failed. Where would their party be without crying racism every other minute?
Left-wingers at various levels are not above using the race card and former first lady Michelle Obama is a prime example of this. Per reports from Fox News, she spoke before an audience at the Obama Foundation Summit on Tuesday. During this time, Obama had quite a bit to say about white Americans.

The former first lady slammed whites for alleged racial discrimination which she experienced in the past; then, Obama went on to claim that white Americans are “still running” from black people and other racial minorities.
A Deeper Look at Obama’s Statements on White Americans
Obama’s statements from yesterday were laced in victimhood at its highest levels. Despite being wealthy, a former first lady, and owning a foundation with her husband, Obama still felt the need to brand herself as a poor, oppressed individual.
She first began by discussing what she claims to be her family’s experiences after moving to the Southside of Chicago. Per Obama’s own words, she and her relatives did “everything we were supposed to do – and better.” However, Obama then declared that “white families moved out” after the arrival of herself and her family.
This sad victimhood narrative continues with Obama admonishing white Americans by stating “you’re still running.” She then goes on to assert that all racial minorities are inherent victims of white people. According to the former first lady, she can’t “explain what’s happening” in the minds of whites and isn’t aware of “what’s going on.”
Left-Wing Perpetuation of Racial Division
The words and rhetoric of Michelle Obama foster the exact division which Democrats claim to oppose. How ironic is it that the same people who claim Americans are “stronger together” remain politically dependent upon dividing Americans?
If you look hard enough for something in life, you will inevitably find it. Yesterday’s statements from Obama have made her agenda of division and victimhood blatantly clear; no level-headed human being can deny it.

At the end of the day, Michelle Obama clearly still represents a significant part of the Democrat Party and their ideologies; moreover, Democrats’ insistence upon seeing racism at each and every corner will only continue to backfire on them as a political party.
