Georgia remains home to the fight to maintain the United States Senate’s Republican majority. Right now, GOP incumbent Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are in fervent races against Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, the Democrats seeking to boot them out of Congress.
Last night, Loeffler and Warnock debated one another, courtesy of the Atlanta Press Club. The Loeffler vs. Warnock debate lasted for precisely one hour, as Breitbart News confirms.

Throughout this debate, the moderators asked Loeffler and Warnock questions; although, during one segment, the candidates were also permitted to make inquiries of one another and given time for rebuttals.

An Overview of the Loeffler vs. Warnock Debate

During last night’s runoff debate, Loeffler held Warnock to task on his policies, past rhetoric, and even his criminal arrest involving obstruction in a church child abuse situation.
The Georgia Republican admonished “Radical Liberal Raphael Warnock” for calling to open up prisons and end cash bail. Loeffler also clearly stated that should Warnock win election into the Senate, he’ll serve as a “rubber stamp” for the extremist policies that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer seeks to impose upon Americans.

Warnock attempted to push back by accusing Loeffler of insider stock trading and downplaying COVID-19; however, Loeffler remained on point. Not only did she slam Warnock’s policies as radical and dangerous, but the Georgia Republican also reminded her state’s residents of Warnock’s divisive and hurtful rhetoric.
This rhetoric includes, but isn’t limited to, Warnock declaring that America should repent for a “worship of whiteness” and referring to law enforcement officers as “thugs” and “gangsters.” Loeffler then panned her opponent for backing communists and Marxists such as Jeremiah Wright and Fidel Castro.

Bias from Debate Moderators

During last night’s Loeffler vs. Warnock debate, many Americans took to Facebook, Parler, and Twitter to remark that moderators appeared biased.
On more than one occasion, the moderators pressed Loeffler about the ongoing disputes surrounding the 2020 presidential race; they also appeared interested in getting Loeffler to declare that Trump lost the election.

However, rather than falling into this trap, the Georgia senator stated that the 2020 presidential race is still ongoing, amid so much litigation. Loeffler also noted that President Trump has every right to pursue legal avenues in this election.
