Since the inception of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment inquiry announcement, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has consistently held Democrats accountable.
In September, McCarthy reminded both Democrats and the American people that Pelosi does not have the power to unilaterally impeach the president. The House Minority Leader furthermore censured Democrats for wasting time and resources on a clearly coordinated coup to rewrite the outcome of the 2016 election.

On Thursday, McCarthy sat down for an interview with Fox News‘ Laura Ingraham. During his interview, the House Minority Leader held Democrats’ feet to the fire by stating some truths. According to Breitbart News, McCarthy reminded viewers that lies are at the core of the left’s impeachment inquiry; moreover, he pointed out that the true motivation of the inquiry is fear of facing Trump in 2020.
A Closer Look at McCarthy’s Fox News Interview
Time and time again, Rep. Adam Schiff has consistently been caught in one line after the other. It’s actually amazing that someone can play such a role in a congressional investigation when they’ve been consistently proven as dishonest and harboring a nefarious agenda.
McCarthy called Schiff out for this earlier in the week, noting that the latter has deceived others about important meetings, the transcripts of the Trump-Zelensky phone call, and even the whistleblower. The House Minority Leader then slammed Schiff for “[wanting] to impeach this president so badly” before noting the Democrats’ crippling fear of going up against Trump in the 2020 general election.
Attacks from the Left
McCarthy’s statements on Fox News come along with the surge of left-wing attacks against conservatives. See, the passing of time is causing Democrats to realize that they can’t just bully Republicans into supporting their sham of an impeachment.
As we all know, impeachment is the last-ditch effort for the left to save themselves in 2020; therefore, the GOP’s commitment to integrity and facts is something that Democrats simply can’t handle.

The public impeachment proceedings which began earlier this week are already complete nothingburgers; each testimony has proven that there was no quid-pro-quo.
Democrats are simply proving the points of President Trump and Leader McCarthy by continuing to persist with this sham. At this point, the left is also hurting themselves more than any Republican could ever hope to.
