Healthcare is a major point in the 2020 presidential election. Over the course of President Trump’s first term, he has managed to effectively do away with Obamacare. This largely involved getting rid of the dreadful individual mandate which forced Americans to purchase healthcare which was unwanted and unaffordable, in so many cases. Unfortunately, many Democrats are now campaigning on a form of healthcare which is even worse than Obamacare.
Democrats running in the 2020 presidential election are either supportive of Medicare-for-All or a form of healthcare which mirrors Obamacare. They’re supportive of this in spite of the fact that leftist healthcare has uprooted so many lives in this country.
Earlier this week, 2020 candidate Kamala Harris was scolded by a senior citizen over healthcare, as documented by Fox News. The older woman made it very clear that she didn’t want Harris or anyone else messing with her healthcare.
The Exchange Over Healthcare in America
On Monday, Harris traveled to Iowa in order to speak to voters; one of the issues which came up during Harris’ time was healthcare. Democrats have routinely criticized Harris for uncertainties regarding her stance on an issue which is so pivotal in the 2020 presidential election.
However, one of the residents at Bickford Senior Living Center took issue with Harris disturbing the healthcare of countless Americans and questioned how “free” healthcare will be paid for.
91-year-old Roberta Jewell directly communicated the following message to Harris:
“Leave our health care alone. We don’t want you to mess with it.”
As seen in the video, Harris responded to Jewell by stating that she doesn’t intend to disturb the woman’s healthcare.
That sounds quite familiar…….
Democrats’ Terrible Track Record on Healthcare
The truth of the matter is that what Kamala Harris is saying isn’t new. How many times did Obama tell Americans “if you like your plan, keep your plan?” As we all know, this turned out to be false.
Democrats have a proven track record of telling Americans one thing when it comes to healthcare and then doing something entirely different once they get elected. Furthermore, Democrats do not have Americans’ best interests at heart when it comes to healthcare. This is more than obvious by the strong leftist support to ram Medicare-for-All through government and expand upon the colossal failure which was Obamacare.
