During Biden’s time as a presidential candidate, conservatives frequently warned that he wouldn’t be up to the task of leading the country. After Biden selected Kamala Harris as his running mate, Republicans stated that Harris would eventually become president once Biden became unable to finish his presidential term.
Despite these concerns, Biden still managed to eek his way into the White House. With almost one month since the Democrat president took office, he’s set a record for his quantity of executive actions. The nature of Biden’s policies, such as gun control, removing the permit for Keystone Pipeline, etc., continues to come under fire.
On Tuesday, America learned that Vice President Kamala Harris is now calling heads of state, a task that is generally reserved for the president of the United States, per Newsmax.
Filling in for Biden’s Presidential Duties
Speaking with world leaders is a standard duty of the U.S. president; however, for reasons that remain hidden from the public, Biden is shifting these duties over to his vice president. Therefore, Harris recently spoke with the president of France regarding transatlantic partnerships, different regional complications, and more.

Likewise, the vice president has spoken with the Prime Minister of Canada, another task that would generally be for the president to complete. Biden has not spoken with the leaders of either France or Canada since last month.
The White House has yet to provide the nation with an official answer about why Harris is assuming presidential duties that fall into Biden’s column.

With no explanation from the White House, Americans must now draw their own conclusions on why Harris is filling in for Biden’s presidential duties.
Some people theorize that this is a sign of Biden’s mental decline. During the 2020 presidential, Biden repeatedly made a series of verbal gaffes that prompted the nation to question his mental facilities.
People in this country are hurting right now – especially women. About 2.5 million women have lost their jobs or dropped out of the workforce during the pandemic.
