Instagram social media influencer Jessy Taylor recently made headlines after posting a video in which she laments the loss of her account on the platform, as documented by The Blaze.
Reviewing What Happened
At this time, there is still some ambiguity in regards to the reasons why Taylor’s account was deleted. Nevertheless, she posted a video which has since gone viral; in the video, she expressed anger and sadness over the loss of her Instagram account. Taylor noted that all of her income comes from the internet and that working a traditional 9-to-5 isn’t for her.
Excerpts from Taylor’s video are as follows:
“I am nothing without my following. I want to say to everybody that’s been reporting me, think twice, because you’re ruining my life, because I make all of my money online — all of it! — and I don’t want to lose that. The people who work 9-5 — that is not me, I am in L.A. to not be like that.”
Taylor also noted her previous employment in prostitution and at McDonald’s. Finally, Taylor stated that she could not return to her previous lifestyle and noted the importance of having an ability to earn money on the internet.
Since posting the viral video, Taylor has started a new Instagram account and begun rebuilding her following as a social media influencer.

In this day and age, there are a variety of employment opportunities. Aside from 9-to-5s, there are multiple ways to earn a living. Some examples of these ways include social media influencing, freelance work, blog monetization and more. No matter what line of work one chooses, there will be setbacks and struggles. Ultimately, there will be obstacles in any career path, but the key is to overcome these obstacles again without melting down.
