To say that Democrats are not happy about the acquittal of President Trump is a massive understatement. Since the Senate rejected the left’s sham impeachment articles, Democrats lost it, resorting to attacking Republicans, rather than accepting the failure of the leftist coup.
Senate GOP members have been branded as everything from “cowardly” to “spineless” and worse. Prior to the votes on the sham articles, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff implored Republicans to vote against Trump, even referring to the GOP body as “decent” after weeks of insults.

One of the angriest Democrats of all is twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Clinton is angry not only because she’ll never be president, but also because Trump is acquitted and exonerated for life. Following the Senate’s vote, Clinton took to Twitter, opining that GOP senators “betrayed” not only their oath of office, but also the American people, as documented by Washington Examiner.
Reviewing Clinton’s Attacks on Senate Republicans
According to Hillary Clinton, President Trump’s acquittal marks a point of danger for the United States’ democracy. This is not only untrue, but also quite ironic coming from someone like Clinton. Remember, this is the same individual who abused her position as head of the State Department in order to enrich herself. In addition to shredding her emails and being caught in countless scandals, Clinton has undermined America and this nation’s democracy time and time again.
Contrary to what Clinton and other Democrats continue to allege, Senate Republicans did not violate their oath of office or betray the American people. The upper chamber held an impeachment trial as the Constitution demands and ultimately came to the conclusion that Trump did not commit the crimes that House Democrats accused him of.
Whenever the left admonishes Senate Republicans or takes aim at the latter’s courage, they’re not fooling anyone. Democrats may have managed to ram their sham impeachment through the House, but the Senate is the body that holds the trial.
Since the inception of impeachment proceedings, Republicans were clear in their belief that Trump did not commit a crime. Throughout the process of impeachment, the left failed to make their case or present evidence to show the commitment of any violation.
Who Really Betrayed their Oath of Office?
If Clinton is truly as shaken by the betrayal of one’s oath of office, she need not look any further than House Democrats. Leftist lawmakers weaponized and bastardized the impeachment process in order to overthrow a duly-elected president.

When this ploy failed, Democrats resorted to attacking Republicans and stating that the president is “impeached forever.” Hillary Clinton can rant on Twitter and attack Senate GOP members until the end of time, but none of it changes the fact that Trump is acquitted, vindicated, cleared, absolved and exonerated…forever.
