With the 2020 presidential election coming up, Americans are eager to throw their support the party and candidate which they hope to see emerge as the victor. Although, if donations are any indication, then it seems as though Republicans have a much stronger support system than their Democrat opponents.
Last month, the GOP managed to raise almost $16 million dollars; this is more than twice the amount of donations which Democrats received in April, as documented by Fox News.
Reviewing America’s Support for the Republican Party
There are many interesting facts regarding the support for the GOP. However, it turns out that the millions which Republicans raised last month largely came from small donors. This serves as a major slap in the face to Democrats, especially since they love to brand themselves as a grassroots party which is truly for the people; although it seems as though the people aren’t truly for them.
At the end of the day, earning support from the American people means connecting with the American people. Thus far, Republicans have largely outclassed Democrats in this area.

What do Democrats Have to Offer Americans?
You look at the Democrat Party today and it’s not a very pretty picture. Thus far, Democrats have shown America that their party supports high taxes, open borders, the Green New Deal, socialism, abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), along with a plethora of other radical, far-left policies. Granted, these policies may appeal to the extreme progressives amongst the left-wing, but they will not unify a nation.
The leaders of the Democrat Party also continue to self-sabotage by focusing all their energy on President Trump. They did this when the Russia investigation was underway; they’re still doing it by alleging that Trump obstructed justice during the time of Mueller’s probe.
It’s no wonder that Americans are fleeing from the Democrat Party in droves.
