As the gap between now and January 5, 2021 closes, the American public should expect to hear more about the runoff races happening in Georgia.
Right now, David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, both GOP incumbent senators, are in heated run-off races against leftists Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. Whether or not Perdue and Loeffler retain their seats in the U.S. Senate will decide whether or not the body remains red or flips blue.
As Democrats throw millions of dollars into the campaigns of Ossoff and Warnock, the GOP is hard at work also. Just yesterday, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) put out a Georgia ad that sends a clear warning about Democrat Ossoff, per Breitbart News.
A Message from the NRSC to Georgia
On the eve of Thanksgiving, the NRSC branded Ossoff as an “awkward relative” that people shouldn’t allow to spoil their Thanksgiving or America as a whole. The 44-second ad then proceeds to show a clip of Ossoff walking down the street with a face mask; before the ad closes out, the narrator also urges Georgians not to cast their votes for Ossoff.

The above ad from the NRSC comes after Sen. Perdue, Ossoff’s Republican rival, put out an ad of his own.
In Perdue’s ad, the GOP senator discusses how he got to work for Georgians and Americans after COVID-19 struck; Perdue also spoke about a “hopeful America” that beats COVID-19 and restores the economy. In a clear jab at Ossoff, Perdue then proceeds to inform that no “radical socialist agenda” can stop coronavirus or engender economic growth.
What is Ossoff’s “Radical Socialist Agenda?”
As Perdue and Ossoff battle it out in Georgia, the senator has repeatedly charged that his Democrat rival would bring a “radical socialist agenda” to the Senate. In layman’s terms, this is about the policies supported by Ossoff.
The America that I believe in will beat this virus, reignite our economy, and create even more jobs. No radical socialist agenda can do that. #gapol #GAsen pic.twitter.com/ZvnaFfB0fy

The Georgia Democrat is on record stating that funding for law enforcement needs to be “on the table.” This comes on top of Ossoff’s support for policies that enable voter fraud and the prohibition of semiautomatic rifle sales. During the last debate between Ossoff and Perdue, the latter slammed Ossoff for switching up his talking points in different circles.
Since then, the Georgia Republican maintains that he won’t debate Ossoff again because of the latter’s lies and lack of defense for his “radical socialist agenda.”
