Amid the outcomes of the most recent elections, Republicans are looking for ways to grow, rebuild the party, and secure wins in upcoming races.
Many GOP voters lost confidence in the integrity of elections. Some Republicans decided that their votes wouldn’t count in the 2021 Georgia runoffs; hence some conservatives sat out the races, leading to the elections of Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. It also didn’t help matters that attorneys like Lin Wood and Sidney Powell (who professed to be pro-Trump) told Republicans not to vote.
When Republicans don’t vote, Democrats win elections. In light of these details and more, some GOP members are urging the collective Republican Party to “self-evaluate” in preparation for a better future, Breitbart News confirms.
The Self-evaluation of the Republican Party
During an interview on NewsmaxTV earlier this week, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem spoke about the Republican Party. Noem explained that the GOP hasn’t upheld its promises regarding healthcare reform, immigration reform, and other matters.
Yesterday @SDDOH asked for volunteers to help with our excellent vaccine distribution efforts.
They've already had more than 550 people sign up. South Dakota has such incredible people!

The South Dakota governor pointed out that “self-evaluation” is necessary for Republicans at this time. After noting the horrors of “Democrat leadership,” Noem explained that the GOP must be sure to follow through on policies and promises made to the American people.
After making these points, the South Dakota governor emphasized that there are consequences to leadership and decisions made.
Rebuilding the GOP
Calls for the Republican Party to self-evaluate arrive as the GOP prepares for upcoming elections.
Next year, the Republican Party has a chance to take back the majority power in the House of Representatives. To do this, however, Republicans need to win at least five seats and energize their base to get out and vote in record numbers.
It’s been just one week, but Biden's inaugural message of unity and bipartisanship has been thrown out the window in favor of fulfilling campaign promises to the far-left.

Yesterday, House Leader Kevin McCarthy traveled to South Florida to meet with President Trump. During the Republican leader’s meeting with Trump, the pair discussed a series of political matters, notably the upcoming House races.
After Thursday’s meeting, Trump’s Save America PAC released a very positive statement. Save America confirmed the 45th president’s plans to work with Republicans to get the House GOP back in power again.
Do you think the Republican Party will heed Governor Noem’s advice and self-evaluate? How do you think the GOP can best position itself to win the House back in 2022? Be sure to let us know in the comments section below.
