For quite some time, America got to know Kayleigh McEnany as the White House press secretary under the Trump administration. During her time as press secretary, McEnany quickly gained popularity amongst Trump supporters and conservatives; many also admired McEnany’s means of dealing with gotcha questions from the mainstream media.
When a new administration entered the White House in January 2021, the reality that McEnany would no longer be the press secretary was very apparent. However, there were also some questions about what McEnany would do next and what her job would be post-Trump White House.
Yesterday, inquiring minds finally got an answer. On Tuesday, Americans learned that Kayleigh McEnany will be joining Fox News as a contributor, Townhall confirms.
A New Fox News Contributor
News about McEnany’s new job arrived during her interview with Fox News host Harris Faulkner.
On the program known as The Faulkner Focus, Faulkner expressed her “distinct pleasure” to announce McEnany joining the Fox News family. Faulkner also confirmed that in light of the former White House press secretary’s new position, Americans will be seeing much more of her in the future to come.
.@PressSec: “Like many Americans, we disagree on political issues, but we talked about our families, our spouses, sports, all sorts of things in the green room.”

During McEnany’s interview with Faulkner, prior to the announcement of her new job, she discussed the fateful insurrection on January 6.
The former White House press secretary explained that prior to the siege upon Capitol Hill, there was a peaceful pro-Trump rally. McEnany also explained that judging from her experience with Trump rallies, she didn’t expect the violent turn that things took later.
Potential Interview with Jen Psaki?
With McEnany’s new role as a Fox News contributor, some Americans have questioned whether or not she’ll end up interviewing Jen Psaki, the current White House press secretary.
Psaki and McEnany have previously met one another and worked together before as contributors to CNN. Since McEnany’s new hiring at Fox News, Psaki has stated that she wouldn’t have any problems with being interviewed by McEnany on Fox.
