Earlier this year, Democrat Sen. Kamala Harris made a fool of herself throughout the entirety of her failed presidential campaign. Harris spent time going after the president in various tweets and online posts while failing to distinguish herself from other Democrats. The policies she promoted and put forth were absolutely nothing short of big government and socialism.

Throughout Harris’ time as a 2020 presidential candidate, there were ongoing reports of her mistreating staffers, laying of her team without a moment’s notice, and not allowing staffers to do their jobs. Finally, Harris was forced to end her campaign after depleting her resources and realizing that she’ll never become president.
In the wake of her failed presidential campaign, Harris isn’t done with politics, not by a long shot. She’s now taking aim at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell; Breitbart News reports Harris’ allegation that McConnell is partaking in a “cover-up” since he’s not hastily following House Democrats’ lead on impeachment.
A Closer Look at Harris’ Take on McConnell and Impeachment
On Sunday, Harris spread the lie that McConnell is blocking witnesses from testifying and has “announced a verdict.” What the failed presidential candidate neglected to mention is that Republicans have been very clear on where they stand regarding this sham impeachment.
From the jump, Republicans in both the House and the Senate noted that due to the lack of evidence and Democrats’ ongoing attempts to impeach the president, support for the process wouldn’t be bipartisan. Despite Pelosi previously stating that bipartisanship and overwhelming evidence are necessary for moving forward with impeachment, the Democrats still proceeded.
Now they’re angry that McConnell and Senate Republicans haven’t magically changed their minds and decided to join Democrats’ coup. There is nothing for the Senate Majority Leader to “cover up,” regardless of what Harris chooses to tell herself. Trump did nothing wrong; there was no quid-pro-quo and the transcripts prove this.
Right now, Democrats’ frustration with Republicans is merely a result of sour grapes.
Fear of a Senate Trial
Despite what Harris or any other leftists say, they are terrified of the Senate holding a trial. If anyone’s engaging in a cover-up, it’s the House Democrats who are concealing the impeachment articles. The left doesn’t want their weak and meritless articles to be completely exposed as the failure that they are.

If the Democrats are truly concerned about a cover-up, they’ll stop sitting on impeachment articles and send them over to the Senate at once.
