Ex-Biden Adviser Explains Reason for Resignation: "It Became Too Much!"

2020 Democrat Joe Biden is in a hole which just keeps getting deeper and deeper. For months, the former vice president has repeatedly embarrassed himself by making blunders and mistakes about critical matters of importance. Mistaking his years of service as vice president and forgetting what state he’s in are only are few of many examples of Biden’s infamous gaffes.

In the wake of the former vice president’s countless errors and mistakes, his campaign has been left to clean things up, namely with attempts to brand Biden as the most electable Democrat. However, one member of Biden’s staff decided that forever cleaning up his messes “became too much.”

Reports from the Washington Examiner confirm that now-former senior Latina adviser Vanessa Cardenas has officially relinquished her role within Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign.

A Closer Look at Why Cardenas Quit

Cardenas’ time as the former vice president’s national coalitions director began on April 25, 2019. Sources close to her have stated that a lack of regard for Cardenas’ thoughts, Biden’s tone-deaf takes on immigration, and disregard for Latino voters ultimately prompted her resignation. Reports of Cardenas consistently “banging her head against the wall” were also noted during talks of why she resigned from her post.

Thus far, Joe Biden has yet to come out and provide a statement about the loss of his national coalitions director. However, one of Cardenas’ friends reported that the 2020 Democrat’s main focus is on white and black Iowans. In the wake of all this, Biden’s service as vice president also continues to be a cause of concern for many members of the Latino community.

What’s Next for Biden’s Campaign?

News of Vanessa Cardenas’ resignation from Biden’s presidential campaign comes along with a recent drop in the polls for him. The former vice president, who was once the frontrunner of his party, is now trailing behind Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, and Bernie Sanders in multiple polls.

It appears as though those Super PACs behind Biden aren’t working so well for him; after all, there’s only so much damage control that even big money can make up for. There have been no reports on Biden’s plan to usher in a replacement for Cardenas.
