Eric Trump Rips Fake News, Bogus Coverage of Trump Presidency

Ever since then-future President Trump descended down the escalator in 2015 and announced his presidency, the mainstream media went into a frenzy. First, they claimed that Trump wasn’t serious about running for office and would never gain any real support.

Then, when he started getting support, the media stated that Trump would never win the Republican nomination. After Trump won the GOP nomination by a landslide, fake news claimed that Hillary Clinton would defeat Trump at the ballot box in 2016.

At each and every turn, the mainstream media has been wrong about President Trump and they can’t handle it. Throughout the president’s time in the White House, the liberal press has put out one inaccurate story after the other. In publishing various lies and unfounded conspiracy theories, the media neglects to mentions various wins and successes of the Trump administration.

All this and more is why first son Eric Trump roasted fake news during an interview with Jesse Watters on Sunday, reports Townhall.

Trump on How Fake News Impacts His Father’s Presidency

During his time on Watter’s World, Eric Trump explained that fake news has the opposite intended impact on his father’s presidency. The first son explained that by consistently posting negative coverage, the mainstream media has become transparent. Trump also stated that Americans are able to “see through the BS of media” and be cognizant of his father’s accomplishments.

In additional remarks with Watters, Trump cited low unemployment levels, increased workers’ wages, the USMCA deal, and the betterment of America’s economy as a few of many Trump era accomplishments. The first son also pointed out that his father’s legacy will entail helping people see through deceit in the press which previously went unnoticed.

Finally, Eric Trump explained that the manner in which fake news and House Democrats deal with the president will contribute to his re-election later this year. Trump cited the impeachment sham as “walking [his] father into 2020.” This comes after weeks of Speaker Pelosi sitting on impeachment articles after talking about the supposed urgency of the process.

What Happens Now?

Over the past few years, fake news has proven that absolutely nothing will get in the way of their vendetta against President Trump. With the Senate’s impeachment trial getting ready to commence today, Americans should prepare for more biased takes from the liberal press.

When the president defeats whomever Democrats nominate later this year, the media will inevitably wonder what happened and how it all went wrong for them…just as they did in 2016. Thus far, fake news has yet to learn that their inaccurate coverage of President Trump is only helping him, not hurting him.
