Durham Report Shines a New Spotlight on Bad Actors

Weeks ago, Americans became privy to the release of the famous Durham report. This report confirmed, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that any and all claims of Trump colluding with the Russian government to win the 2016 presidential election were false.

On top of this revelation, the country also learned that government officials within and connected to the Obama administration knew such claims lacked merit. Yet, they still used bad faith and baseless assertions as ammunition to surveil Trump and his campaign.

Though, as reported by Fox News, the Durham report furthermore shows that many bad actors who perpetuated this hoax were rewarded handsomely for doing so.

An Undeniable Disgrace

Some of the government officials who were awarded fame and career opportunities for their involvement in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax include former deputy director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, Obama CIA Director John Brennan, and others.

So far, there’s no word that these individuals will ever be fully held accountable for spreading lies. These weren’t just harmless rumors, either. They undermined a candidate and eventual sitting president of the United States.

The government efforts and probes that followed in the wake of this hoax also led to the waste of millions of taxpayer dollars.

A Rigged System?

On social media, there are growing calls for the individuals who partook in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax to be held legally accountable for it.

The fact that this hasn’t taken place yet is also why many Americans fear that we’re all living under a system where there are rules for those with connections and separate rules for the rest of society.

Meanwhile, Americans aren’t going to be forgetting about the disclosures within the Durham report. At this point, the findings beg to question what other forms of government corruption are taking place and simply have yet to be revealed.
