The Democrat Party has an unfortunate habit of believing that they are entitled to the black and minority vote. Leftists scream from the rooftops that their policies are advantageous to racial minorities, but this couldn’t be less accurate. As a matter of fact, Democrat-backed, left-wing policies are harmful and atrocious for all races, ethnicities, and creeds.

As we all know, the truth has never stopped Democrats from moving forward with an agenda, no matter how corrupt that agenda may be. This is why 2020 Democrat Cory Booker is on record claiming that he is the “only person” running for president with the ability to garner the black vote. Booker’s statements came within his op-ed for Essence Magazine, according to Breitbart News.
Why Booker Thinks He’s Got the Black Vote in the Bag
Within Booker’s Essence opinion piece, he talked about the Democrat Party and cited the development of “multi-racial” and “multi-ethnic coalitions” as a “job description” for becoming president of the United States.
Shortly thereafter, Booker puffed out his chest and brazenly claimed that he is the “only person” in the 2020 race who’s consistently demonstrated the ability to “turn out the vote and win in a heavily black electorate.”
This is actually really big talk for someone who has consistently polled in the single-digits and trailed behind multiple other candidates. When it comes to support from black voters, Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and Elizabeth Warren are beating out Booker in the polls.
The 2020 Democrat’s assertion that he’s best positioned to generate the greatest backing from black voters also comes shortly after his appeals for campaign donations in order to remain in the race.
Pandering for the Black Vote
Democrats have historically and ongoingly pandered for the black vote during each election season. It’s always the same narrative; the left claims to be in touch with the interests and needs of black Americans, but when it’s all said and done, they’ll say just about anything to get elected. Cory Booker is no exception to this rule and shouldn’t be treated or regarded as such.

When at least three other candidates are leading Booker amongst black voters, it’s completely outrageous for him to profess that he is the “only one” with the ability to garner black support. Either he’s lying as always or the 2020 Democrat is simply delusional.
Either way it goes, Booker is completely unfit to become the next president of the United States and should be kept as far away from the Oval Office as humanly possible.
