Each of the 2020 Democrats likes to believe that they have what it takes to defeat President Trump. Convincing left-wing voters of their ability to successfully take on the president is the job of 2020 Democrats, however, they’re lying to themselves and to voters.
The reality is that left-wing candidates lack the policies, energy, and track record to appeal to Americans and defeat the president. 2020 Democrat Cory Booker is a prime example of this. Booker is barely treading water in the polls and missed last night’s Democrat debate, yet somehow views himself as a formidable threat to Trump.

If Booker can’t rally his own base of supporters, he certainly won’t be able to get the diverse American public to support him over the president’s proven track record of success.
Nevertheless, none of these realities stopped Booker from branding himself as a “baller” who aims to defeat President Trump in an “electoral contest.” The 2020 Democrat made these laughable remarks during an MSNBC interview, per reports from Breitbart News.
A Further Analysis of Booker’s Delusions of Grandeur
During Booker’s appearance on MSNBC, the host asked whether or not he views himself as “impartial” in the impeachment proceedings against President Trump; it’s also important to note that the MSNBC host prefaced the question by citing Booker’s previous remarks about the value of “impartial jurors.”
The 2020 Democrat responded by stating that he’s a “baller” and claiming his ambition to become president means he wants to face and “look down at” Trump on a general election debate stage.
Booker furthermore inferred that his interest in going toe-to-toe with Trump makes him impartial; these remarks came shortly before the senator vowed to “listen to the evidence” presented in a Senate trial and vote accordingly.
Why Booker Cannot Defeat President Trump
Despite what Booker has led himself to believe or been coached to say on TV, he doesn’t stand a chance of defeating President Trump. The 2020 Democrat lacks the right policies and the track record to go toe-to-toe against Trump in a general election and win.

Over the course of Booker’s campaign, raising the necessary amount of capital to sustain his campaign is an area where he’s struggled. After an unsuccessful super PAC launch, the senator was forced to continuously take to social media and beg for donations.
Through his campaign, his policies, and strategies to win the nomination, Cory Booker has proven beyond the shadow of the doubt that he has no business becoming the next president. The higher-ups in the Democrat Party will not allow him to win his party’s nomination.
