On Wednesday, the House Oversight and Accountability Committee insisted the University of Pennsylvania provide information regarding anonymous Chinese donations made to the Penn Biden Center.
This is where classified files were discovered. The major worry is the Chinese Communist Party may have used the donations to control the Biden administration’s actions and policies.
Concern Over Chinese Donations
The GOP-led committee stated that the council has managed to learn that UPenn obtained millions of dollars from unnamed Chinese sources, with a noticeable upsurge in charitable contributions when then-former Vice President Biden was revealed as leading the Penn Biden Center initiative.
As Joe Biden considered a possible presidential candidacy, funds coming from China increased after the Penn Biden Center was established.
The announcement comes after committee chairman Rep. James Comer sent a letter to university head M. Elizabeth Magill to ask for information and permission for Just the News to publish an article about the charitable contributions.
The panel is already looking into whether or not then-Vice President Biden handled confidential documents improperly.
While some of the classified records were found in November at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, which was Biden’s former office in Washington, D.C., the records from that find, as well as more recent finds in his residential home, were not made public until this month.

The American people should be aware that the first find happened just days before the November 2022 midterm elections.
Due to the Biden family’s financial ties to foreign individuals and businesses, Comer of Kentucky expressed concern regarding who had privy to these papers before the American people ever came to know about them.
After all, the sensitive documents reportedly contained information about Iran and Ukraine.

More secret documents were discovered in Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware residence. The most recent find revealed boxes of classified documents stored in Biden’s garage.
After this scandal broke and made national headlines, the current president excused this scandal by stating the documents were near his Corvette and were therefore safe, as the garage is usually locked.
According to Comer, the American people need to know if the Chinese Communist Party, acting through Chinese corporations, impacted potential Biden administration policies with sizable, charitable contributions to UPenn and the Penn Biden Center.
Donations Possibly Influence Policies
At least ten Penn Biden Center staff members rose to the position of senior White House officials. At the same time, it is of equal concern that Joe Biden ended up earning more than $900,000 there in 2017, according to Comer.
The executive director of the Penn Biden Center, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, stated on Tuesday that he “had no awareness” of the confidential materials while employed there. This is not usual for the White House, all things considered.
