Booker: I'm "Proud to Endorse" Joe Biden!

Former vice president turned 2020 Democrat Joe Biden has led a campaign full of gaffes, rude interactions with voters, and instances of him riding the coattails of his time as Obama’s second-in-command.

Nevertheless, Biden is the hill that Democrats have chosen to die on. In the past week alone, the following past rivals of the 2020 hopeful have now gladly offered their endorsements: Pete Buttigieg, Beto O’Rourke, Amy Klobuchar, Mike Bloomberg, Kamala Harris, and now Cory Booker.

The majority of these former candidates endorsed Biden within 24 hours of one another; the timing of it all also gives credence to the widely-held notion that the DNC is purposefully working against Bernie Sanders, just as they did in 2016.

Earlier this morning, Sen. Cory Booker took to Twitter to endorse his former 2020 rival for president of the United States. Booker’s endorsement comes within 24 hours of Kamala Harris also stumping for Biden and stating that she’ll do whatever she can to get him into the Oval Office.

What to Know About Booker’s Biden Endorsement

In his endorsement of the former vice president, Booker opined that revitalizing America’s “spirit of common purpose” is the answer to supposed “hatred & division.” Branding Biden as the catalyst to bring about this change, the former 2020 candidate also noted his pride to issue this endorsement.

Booker’s additional claims that Biden has what it takes to combat America’s “most pressing challenges” arrive as the former vice president continues putting his foot in his mouth. Forgetting lines from the Declaration of Independence is only one example; on multiple occasions, Biden has also misremembered the state he’s campaigning in and even maintained that he’s running for Senate.

This is not the behavior of a man who is of sound mind; nevertheless, Booker is bought and paid for, just like all the other ex-rivals of Biden who are rushing out to endorse him, one after the other.

It’s also worth noting that when Booker was running for president, he repeatedly called Biden’s fitness for the presidency into question; Booker’s complete 180-degree turn indicates that deals were made behind the scenes with the DNC pulling strings.

More Biden Endorsements to Come?

Americans shouldn’t be shocked if more former 2020 Democrats decide to endorse the former vice president. Both Harris and Booker are set to stump for Biden tonight in Michigan; this will undoubtedly give the former vice president a significant advantage over Sanders in the Mitten State.

It appears as though Sanders is already preparing for his inevitable defeat. Last week, the socialist candidate admitted that he’ll drop out of the race if Biden has more delegates than him at the convention. With Biden already leading Sanders in delegate count, it’s only a matter of time before the Vermont senator is forced to bite the bullet yet again.
