Over the course of the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden has repeatedly put his foot in his mouth. In doing so, he’s largely undermined his ability to be taken seriously amongst the members of his party. Additional 2020 Democrats have seized Biden’s multiple gaffes in order to brand themselves as more credible and raise questions about the former vice president’s ability to take on Trump in a general election.
Following last night’s third Democrat debate, 2020 candidate Cory Booker sat down for an interview with CNN, as reported by Breitbart News. During Booker’s time with the network, he noted the Democrat Party’s uncertainties about Biden as a candidate. Booker furthermore stated that there are instances where people listen to Biden speak on various matters and “just wonder” about him.
A Closer Look at Booker’s Take On Biden
Quite frankly, there are many Americans who “just wonder” when they listen to Democrats talk. The left-wing is now finally being transparent about their agenda to take the firearms of law abiding citizens; they’ve also embraced rouge, far-left ideologies on other matters. However, Booker chose to put the spotlight on Biden; when speaking to CNN interviewers, Booker stated that the former vice president has a tendency to “[go] on or [meander] in his speech.”
The 2020 hopeful also expressed the concerns which Democrats have regarding Biden as a candidate:
“I think that we are at a tough point right now because there’s a lot of people who are concerned about Joe Biden’s ability to carry the ball all the way across the end line without fumbling. We can respect [Vice] President Biden and disagree with him. I tried to show that in the CNN debate, where he and I have strong disagreements. […] There are definitely moments where you listen to Joe Biden and you just wonder.”
The Bigger Picture
Joe Biden is not the only problematic Democrat in the 2020 presidential election, despite what the other candidates would like to believe. Each of the running Democrats has their own issues which make Americans “just wonder” when listening to them. Medicare-for-All, the Green New Deal, taking away the guns of lawful citizens, etc are the policies which Democrats have chosen to proudly stand behind.
Sometimes, it’s tough to wonder if Democrats truly believe what they’re saying, or if they’re just desperately throwing out whatever sticks in order to get votes.
