The America First Policy Institute issued a statement by Ken Blackwell, the former Ohio Secretary of State, calling for repercussions in response to the purportedly tainted Maricopa County Midterm Election.
Blackwell, who previously held positions as Ohio State Treasurer, Secretary of State, and US Ambassador to the UN, currently serves as Chair of the Center for Election Integrity at the America First Policy Institute.
Blackwell Criticizes Report on Tabulator Failure in Maricopa County Election
In his recent statement, Blackwell expressed criticism regarding a report on an “independent investigation” into the failure of tabulators on Election Day 2022 at 60% of voting locations throughout Maricopa County.
The investigation was led by former Arizona Supreme Court Justice Ruth McGregor.

The Gateway Pundit highlighted a concerning aspect of the report, which indicates that Oki B432 printers displayed speckling at the edge of ballots during pre-election stress tests.
These speckles could have interfered with the timing marks on ballots. Maricopa County proceeded without addressing them, despite being aware of these issues in September 2022.
Scott Jarrett, the Maricopa County Election Director, confirmed in December testimony that a fit-to-paper or “fit-to-page” printing issue occurred in the August 2020 primary election, November 2020 general election, and August 2022 primary election.
Malfunction in Maricopa County Disenfranchises Thousands of Voters
In contrast, a recent report maintains that the printers were used in the August 2022 primary election and earlier elections without encountering similar issues. Critics contend this “investigation” is an attempt to hide the truth about Abe Hamadeh and Kari Lake’s elections.
Initially, Abe Hamadeh’s race had a margin of just 511 votes before a contentious recount in Pinal County uncovered hundreds of improperly discarded votes heavily favoring Hamadeh.
Consequently, the margin of “victory” shrank to a mere 280 votes.

However, Hobbs and her legal team postponed presenting these recount results until Abe’s case against Hobbs and Kris Mayes was dismissed.
They allegedly knew about the recount results’ inconsistencies and concealed this information from the judge. Blackwell suggests this situation represents either “gross incompetence or a cover-up.”
A recently disclosed video depicting an Election Day malfunction in Maricopa County substantiates claims that thousands of voters were disenfranchised.
Their voter registrations were canceled and they were compelled to cast provisional ballots that ultimately went uncounted. Abe is currently striving to ensure all legitimate votes are tallied.
