Biden's Campaign Funds are Sinking like the Titanic

2020 Democrat Joe Biden has had various issues throughout this current election. He’s faced a series of accusations regarding inappropriate physical contact with women and his verbal gaffes haven’t done him any favor either.

Over the fast few weeks, Biden’s prior quid-pro-quo with Ukraine and the business dealings of his son, Hunter Biden, have also come under a microscope. It’s very safe to say that controversy, largely of Joe Biden’s own making, has a tendency to follow him.

New developments regarding the Biden 2020 campaign pertain to the manner in which they are handling their funding. Per reports from the Washington Examiner, if Biden continues to run through capital at his current rate, sustaining his campaign will prove to be quite challenging.

Of course, there are other things happening in this country which may derail Biden’s campaign other than his sinking funds.

Reviewing the State of Biden’s Campaign Funds

Between the months of July and September 2019, Biden spent 12% more than he raised in campaign funds. Some of the former vice president’s most expensive charges include fancy hotels, private jets, campaign aides, and staffers. If Biden is serious about continuing his campaign, his spending habits cannot continue to follow recent patterns.

In the wake of news regarding their campaign funds, the Biden campaign has attempted to clean things up in the press. Kate Bedingfield, a spokeswoman for the 2020 Democrat recently announced that the Biden camp is ‘building an operation” and “communicating with voters.” Bedingfield also made sure to state that her boss’s campaign is not running out of capital.

In her own words:

“I think that we have the resources that we need to run our race. I think at the end of the day, decisions about money — it’s more important how you spend the money than how you raise it. We have the resources that we need to continue to run our race. We’ve always said we think that this race is going to be a dogfight, and it’s going to go long!”

A Real Cause of Concern for Biden

Despite the state of Biden’s campaign funds, he would do well to focus more attention and energy towards his past dealing with Ukraine and the current remarks from his son, Hunter Biden. Hunter has repeatedly spoken with the press, only Hunter’s statements conflict with his father’s past remarks on business dealings with Ukraine.

At this point, virtually no one can doubt that Biden’s family profited from his previous tenure as vice president. Hunter himself admitted that were his last name not “Biden,” he most likely wouldn’t have had access to certain opportunities in Ukraine or China. The legality of the aforementioned opportunities still remains very much under question.
