The coronavirus vaccine production keeps on running into issues. Several big pharma companies have paused their vaccine trials for one reason or the other. Just days ago, Americans learned that Johnson & Johnson put a hold on their vaccine test after a volunteer came down with an “unexplained illness.”

Many Americans have concerns about this COVID-19 vaccination. Some believe that it’s being rushed too quickly, too soon. Other folks have noted that due to coronavirus’ extremely high survivability rate, there isn’t a need for a vaccine. Furthermore, polling shows that less than half of the nation is currently willing to get the vaccination once it arrives.
However, none of this really matters to Joe Biden. On Thursday night, during a Philadelphia town hall, Biden confirmed his willingness to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine if he becomes president, Breitbart News documents.

Biden and Forced Vaccinations for Americans

Many, many Americans take issue with the notion of government forcing them to get a vaccine, especially since every vaccine carries a risk of harm. Biden, however, still doesn’t have an issue with requiring Americans to get the COVID-19 vaccine, should it come to market.
When asked by ABC News host George Stephanopoulos if he’d mandate the coronavirus vaccine for the American people, Biden stated that “we should be thinking about making [the vaccine] mandatory.”

The former vice president then continued, stating that “the nature of the vaccine” and whether or not its effectiveness reaches 85% are the “golden key” to whether Americans are mandated to get the coronavirus vaccine.
Later, Biden suggested that while mandating the coronavirus vaccine may not be easy, a backdoor avenue of prohibiting people from certain pursuits unless they get the shot is an option.

Social Pushback Against Mandatory Coronavirus Vaccines

If the government were to issue a mandate for the coronavirus vaccine, pushback would undoubtedly follow. Numerous Americans are already on the record stating their unwillingness to get the vaccination.
Face mask mandates have already generated enough controversy; vaccine mandates, which involve the government forcibly injecting chemicals into people’s bodies, take things to an entirely different level.

President Trump, on the other hand, has confirmed that he will not mandate the coronavirus vaccine. During a recent interview, the president also acknowledged that this is an issue many Americans feel very, very strongly about.
