2020 Democrat Joe Biden continues to land in hot water because of his lies and past wrongdoings; granted, the paternity scandal and legal woes of his son Hunter, aren’t helping the former vice president either.
As the 2020 presidential election goes on, the deception and various mistruths of Biden continue to mount. The former vice president chose to kick off a new decade and new year by spreading misinformation about President Trump’s remarks on the Charlottesville violence of 2017.
Biden’s campaign posted an ad via Twitter branding the president as “poison” to America’s soul and showing various edited, incomplete statements from Trump. The narrative which Biden was trying to promote is quite clear; had he allowed some of the clips to play for even a little bit more time, a completely different message would have been conveyed.
Reviewing Biden’s Latest Misinformation About Trump
The misinformation ad ultimately perpetuates a false narrative that the president referred to racists as “very fine people.” Obviously, this is not the case, but Biden, being the dishonest individual that he is, posted a minute segment of the president’s comments before turning to his own remarks about “the soul of the nation.”
See for yourself:
The silver lining in all this is that Biden was promptly called out for his lies and held to task. The Trump War Room responded to the former vice president via Twitter, not only calling him out for lying, but also posting the video which shows Trump clearly condemning Neo-Nazis and white nationalists.
Biden, of course, has yet to respond to the display of truth, proper context, and the full remarks from Trump. As we all know, the former vice president is utterly reliant upon deception and misinformation because he cannot contest Trump on his policies or the truth.
This is a textbook tactic from the Democrat Party. When the left can’t honestly defeat their political opponents, they spread lies and smears.
What’s Happening with Biden’s Campaign?
In the wake of multiple scandals and controversies surrounding himself and Hunter, Biden’s standing in the polls has inarguably diminished. However, he’s still a leading candidate and presently fighting it out with other contenders, such as Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders.
As 2020 continues, it’s very likely that Biden will continue his attacks on Trump. The former vice president is more desperate than ever and eager to prove to Democrats that he’s the most credible threat to a second Trump term.
We’re not even 72 hours into 2020 and Joe Biden, once again, has put his foot in his mouth by spreading lies and misinformation. In truth, he ought to be ashamed of himself.
