As the first month of a new year wraps up, the plights of many Americans have not changed.
Due to the months of shutdowns enacted by mostly Democrat politicians, millions of Americans are having a tough time. Joblessness is at an all-time high and weekly claims for unemployment benefits continue to surge.
With all the hardships that Americans are facing, one might imagine that the first priority of a new president would be getting the nation back to work. Alas, this is not the case. Rather than Biden working to get the economy revitalized, he’s more concerned with giving amnesty to illegal aliens.
Already, this has led to criticism of the new Biden administration, per Breitbart News.
Amnesty over the American People
The 46th president is already putting pressure on Congress to pass an amnesty bill that would give citizenship to millions of illegal aliens in the nation. Unfortunately, though, this arrives at a time where many U.S. citizens have lost their jobs and are barely hanging on.

Hence, House Leader Kevin McCarthy criticized the Biden administration yesterday. The Republican Leader expressed that Biden’s priorities ought to center around getting Americans back to work; McCarthy then lamented that the new president is more fixated upon “a radical immigration bill” rather than lowering joblessness and reopening the economy.
The California Republican isn’t the only critic of Biden’s priorities. Between Biden’s amnesty push, re-entry into the Paris Climate Agreement, etc., the 46th president is taking heat for putting Americans last.
Putting America Last
Based upon the policies and measures that Biden is pushing for, it’s very clear that putting America last is the prevailing theme of the new administration.
An executive order signed by Biden yesterday requires the use of face masks on federal property; still, the 46th president has yet to work towards reopening the economy or helping small businesses. In fact, policies supported by Biden, such as hiking the minimum wage, will actually kill off more businesses, hence boosting the unemployment rate.
Folks — This will be the account for my official duties as President. At 12:01 PM on January 20th, it will become @POTUS. Until then, I'll be using @JoeBiden. And while you're here, follow @FLOTUSBiden @SenKamalaHarris @SecondGentleman and @Transition46.

The 46th president has a tough road ahead of him. Biden’s talk of unity and healing is hallow in the face of his own party’s actions, policies, and rhetoric. Time will tell what else the new White House administration does over the next four years.
