There are no free lunches in life. One way or another, everything costs something. Sadly, there are still many people who have yet to learn this very crucial lesson.
The Democrat Party has always been a fan of thoughtless, wasteful spending. This is par for the course; in fact, Biden’s fiscal recklessness is why America is currently in the middle of an inflation crisis with prices at record highs.
At this time, congressional Democrats are working on passing Biden’s $3.5 trillion spending bill, selling it as an infrastructure package. Now, Biden claims this bill will be of benefit to the nation; however, the 46th president is lying.
If this spending package makes its way through Congress and onto President Biden’s desk, historic tax hikes will be foisted upon Americans, as Breitbart News confirms.
Biden’s Huge Lie
The Democrat president vowed that he would not increase taxes on Americans earning less than $400,000 annually; however, the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) found this vow to be false, based upon a view of the $3.5 trillion spending bill Biden’s trying to get through Congress.
This spending package would, in fact, prompt anyone earning more than $50,000 annually to pay more money in taxes by the time 2031 rolls around. The White House has downplayed JCT’s findings; although, the proof is very much in the pudding.

Additional findings from JCT are even more harrowing. The tax group discovered that by the time 2027 gets here, Americans earning more than $30,000 to $40,000 annually would face tax increases.
All in all, if Biden gets his way and gets his bill through Congress, it’s literally only a matter of time before virtually everyone in the United States is paying more money in taxes.
An Unlikely Ally?
Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin announced this past weekend that he will not back Biden’s $3.5 trillion spending package. With a 50/50 partisan split in the Senate (and with no Republicans supporting the bill), Manchin’s lack of support means the bill will not go through.
Democrats are absolutely seething over Manchin’s refusal to back the spending bill; however, this isn’t the first time that the West Virginia senator’s pushed back against some of the radical moves of his own party.

Manchin is one of the few Democrat senators who also remains committed to not weakening or dismantling the Senate filibuster. This, also, has placed him at odds with Democrats who are willing to do absolutely anything if they believe it will give them more power.
As things currently stand, Sen. Manchin’s vote could be the very thing that stops historic tax increases on the American people in years to come.
