Biden Aide in Hot Water Over Alleged Luggage Theft

Months ago, Joe Biden came under fire for hiring Sam Brinton to serve in his administration as an energy aide.

Brinton’s hiring was disturbing to many Americans, due to his documented record of graphic online posts concerning violent sexuality and even Satanism. Critics of the president openly questioned what he was thinking and slammed his judgment.

Though it turns out, relatively shortly after hiring Brinton, this decision is already backfiring on the president and his administration. News broke recently that Brinton allegedly stole a woman’s luggage in September at the Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) International Airport.

Following this report, Brinton has been put on leave by the White House, per Breitbart News.

A Closer Look at the Brinton Scandal

The energy aide being put on leave comes amid his facing a felony charge for the alleged theft of luggage.

It’s unclear what motivated Brinton to take the woman’s baggage; however, when her luggage disappeared, law enforcement caught the Biden aide on video at the Minneapolis airport taking her suitcase for himself.

Brinton’s reported theft also can’t be written off as a mistake, either. On the flight he took with the Minneapolis airport, he never checked a bag. Therefore, there would be no luggage for him to pick up at baggage claim.

The woman without her bag said the luggage amounted to over $2,000 and the bag Brinton was seen collecting on airport security footage was definitely hers.

When later speaking with law enforcement, Biden’s energy aide alleged to have taken the woman’s bag accidentally. He claimed to have been fatigued from his trip and not realized he’d taken the wrong bag until arriving at his hotel room.

Brinton next asserted he discarded the woman’s clothes at the hotel and took the remainder of the luggage with him because he was nervous.

Though, this still doesn’t add up, given that Brinton himself didn’t check a bag on his flight and therefore wouldn’t need to collect anything from baggage claim.

An Indictment on Biden

The president has already been facing a series of scandals and negative press since he got into the White House. This latest development concerning Brinton certainly isn’t helping Biden’s case at all.

With the White House putting him on leave, it’s clear the administration wants to start distancing itself from this issue. Though if Brinton faces a conviction on the felony theft charge as anticipated, the White House can definitely expect more of its ongoing PR disaster.
