Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other freshmen Democrats have repeatedly attacked the president and the nation as a whole. Recently, President Trump hit back back at “The Squad” in a series of tweets which have caused progressives to completely lose their minds. Following the president’s criticism of Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, Pressley, and Tlaib, the congresswomen have continued to go after Trump and push for policies which would decimate America.
The latest criticism against President Trump comes from AOC. While speaking to the press, the House caucus member alleged that the president’s most recent rally in Greenville, North Carolina placed “millions” of Americans in danger, as documented by Breitbart News. In all honesty, an assertion of this nature should not come as a shock to anyone; Democrats regularly engage in demonization, straw-manning, and fear-mongering, especially when it comes to President Trump.
Why Does AOC Believe Trump’s Rally Hurt Americans
On Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez made the baseless claim that President Trump is endangering individuals who favor equal rights for all people. The congresswoman’s statements come after the president called out Omar for her various anti-Semitic remarks, support for terrorist organizations, and her callous dismissal of 9/11 as “some people did something.”
Ocasio-Cortez may not like the statements which President Trump made in front of his supporters in North Carolina, but Omar is on record making these various outrageous remarks. Perhaps AOC would do well to take up her issues with Omar, instead of the president.
Ocasio-Cortez’s statements to the press in regards to the president’s most recent rally read as follows:
“The president put millions of Americans in danger last night. His rhetoric is endangering lots of people. It’s not just about threats to individual members of Congress, but it is about creating a volatile environment in this country through violent rhetoric that puts anyone like Ilhan, anyone who believes in the rights of all people, in danger. He has a responsibility for that environment.”
Following President Trump’s criticism of Ilhan Omar, supporters eagerly chanted “send her back! Send her back!” Since then, the president has come out and stated that he didn’t agree with the chants. Nevertheless, his critics continue to brand him as a racist, something which is predictable for progressives.
What’s Really Hurting Millions of Americans?
President Trump’s rallies are not hurting millions of Americans. What’s hurting millions of Americans is the radically far-left policies which Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are in favor of. Raising taxes on the middle class is harmful.
Prioritizing illegal immigrants over veterans is hurtful, as is baselessly accusing any and everyone of racism. These are deeds which progressives are responsible for and pointing the finger at Trump isn’t going to make the facts disappear.
